Machiatto: Dropdown Menu, Font Options

  • Abbey H

I had an additional question relating to my original question. "Color Option 1" under the "Color Options" tab says that it changes the colour for:

    • The background behind the header area.
    • The background of the gallery overlay.
    • The titles in the gallery area

The problem is that the colour I want for the background header area isn't necessarily what I want for the titles in my gallery area.  Right now the colour I have is hard to read over the images in my gallery page so I'd like to be able to change just the titles in the gallery area but keep my background header as it is.

The drop down menus are specific to each theme. Latte and Cappuccino work the way you describe but it would not possible to swap the ways the menus look unless you were to do it as part of a custom package.

We can take a look at the Social menu, but they may need to be done using some Custom CSS. We had it spaced pretty specifically, so using slightly longer links bumped the third one down underneath.

The blog date would be custom CSS too.

Adding the twitter feed to the top can maybe come in as a feature request. Some themes have that built in, but macchiato, cappuccino and espresso do not. We would have to find a way to turn that on by choice site by site without disrupting any current sites.

The colors can be edited with Custom CSS as well.

If you can provide a link to your site, I can try a couple suggestions for the CSS.

Thanks for your reply, Marty! I'll just figure out a way to use the current menu system without having too many subpages.

Here's the link to my site:

    Thanks for custom CSS help!
