This is a look at what you see when you first log into your site:
This is a quick explanation of the menu items. Please read the detailed instructions for each before
Dashboard: My Sites, Blog Account. My Sites provides links to all the
sites you have access to, including our main site and support site.
Support: Frequently Asked Questions, Tutorial Videos, Submit a
Blogsite Options: Customize your Photography BlogSite. Change the
background, font colors, font sizes. Upload your logo. Edit the homepage
and add social media links, custom links for the main menu, copyright
and contact info.
SEO Image Galleries: Create and edit your image galleries.
Posts: Write and manage posts. Posts display on your blog.
Media: All the photos/videos you are using in your BlogSite. Anything
you upload through the “Posts” or “Pages” can be found here.
Links: Edit your “blogroll” links. You can create a page using the “Links
Page” template or use the “Blogroll” widget.
Pages: Edit your information pages, ie Details, About, Contact. Also the
Portfolio page that houses your galleries and your blog page. (The
galleries themselves are edited through “SEO Image Galleries” )
Comments: Manage your comments.
Appearance: Choose a theme, edit widgets. “Themes” determine the
overall look of your site. You will also want to look under “Premium
Themes” to see the themes available under your specific plan. “Widgets”
are small content blocks that can be added to your site, generally to the
sidebar of your blog page.
Users: This is where you can add users/authors to your blog and
blogsite. You can also update your profile here.
Tools: Import, Export, Domain Mapping, Delete Site. Import your old
blog or export your content at any time. “Domain Mapping” is where you
can enter your custom domain name. “Delete Site” will allow you to
remove your site and all information permanently.
Settings: General Settings (site name & description, admin email, etc.)
All In One SEO, Google Analytics and many more. Go through them all
to make sure they are set up correctly.
Contact: This is where you will find the Contact form. Customize this and
then copy and paste the code onto your Contact Page.
